ANNA KATHERINE iS AN ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF PRACTICE IN THE MEDIA STUDIES DEPARTMENT at the university of virginia.

her courses include: SPORTS JOURNALISM,Advanced Sports Journalism, WOMEN AND TELEVISION, AthlEtes, Activism & the media, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, MULTIMEDIA STORYTELLING AND SPORTS MEDIA PRODUCTION. EACH Class INCORPORATES THE FUNDAMENTALS OF WRITING AND MULTI-MEDIA STORYTELLING WITH PERSPECTIVES FROM PROMINENT FIGURES THROUGHOUT SPORTS MEDIA.

ANNA KATHERINE HAS BEEN A KEYNOTE SPEAKER AND GIVEN TALKS ON JOURNALISM AND LEADERSHIP AT A NUMBER OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS INCLUDING: DAVIDSON COLLEGE, THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT CHAPEL HILL, BOSTON UNIVERSITY, AND GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY. SHE LED A SESSION ON PITCHING AND STORY IDEAS AT THE 2022 AMERICAN SOCIETY OF JOURNALISTS AND AUTHORS CONFERENCE; SHE ALSO SPOKE AS PART OF A FEATURED PANEL AT THE ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN IN SPORTS MEDIA 2022 CONVENTION.
